Choosing your electronic insurance billing and practice management software is a very important decision. Unlike other billing software, Therabill encourages you to explore what Therabill has to offer. There is no need to call us and ask us for access to a demonstration. You can log in to Therabill as a demonstration user and explore the members area right now. Simply log in to Therabill using the username "demo" (without the quotes) and password "demo" (without the quotes).

The toolbox
The toolbox (image left) can be used to perform common actions (i.e. adding a therapy session to your schedule, or adding a new client). The toolbox allows you to perform these actions from any page in the members area without navigating away from what you are working on. The toolbox is always located on the left hand side of the screen when you are logged in to Therabill.
The Therabill Help Center
Therabill strives to keep your insurance billing and scheduling process easy. Therabill also strives to make it easy for you to get help when you are stuck. The Therabill Help Center has various help tools such as documentation, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), and a contact us form. In addition to the help center, please view our various Therabill instructional videos.
Healthcare Therapy Scheduling
Scheduling your therapy sessions is easy using the Therabill calendar interface (image below). Therabill even allows you to enter recurring therapy sessions (i.e. every Monday). Recurring therapy sessions saves you time by allowing you to enter a single therapy session into Therabill once and automatically copying that therapy session to every date within the recurrence. In Therabill, the scheduling is integrated with the insurance billing. Therapy sessions that you enter into Therabill are also billable events. A therapy session in Therabill contains all of the neccessary information to put that session on a CMS-1500 HCFA insurance form.
The View Day Page
Click on a day within your calendar to view the scheduled therapy sessions for that day. The View Day (image below) lists all scheduled sessions and you can easily navigate to different days using the five calendars at the top of the page. Each session listed will have action icons that will allow you to perform actions on your therapy session such as edit or cancel.Search filters and color coding tools are available to help you view your schedule. From the view day page, you can also add a new therapy session to that day (this action can also be performed from the toolbox).
Easy Access to Information
Therabill stores all of your information in folders. You can easily find therapy session information, such as insurance billing history, in the session folders (see image right). All therapy notes that you enter into Therabill can be found in the session folder.You can go to the client folder for easy access to your client / patient information. All of the therapy notes and client notes are stored in the client folders for easy access. The client folder also stores CMS-1500 HCFA insurance forms that you have created for that client, client invoices that you created for that client / patient, and also contains various reports.
When you open a folder (either client or therapy session), the folder opens in a new window, allowing you to simutaneously view multiple folders at the same time.
Adding a patient / client
Like most entry forms in Therabill, the Add Client / Patient form opens in a layer above the screen you are currently working on. This means that, using the toolbox, you can add a client from any page you are on without having to navigate away. The image to the left shows the Add Client / Patient form. In addition tot he client demographic information, Therabill allows you to enter multiple insurance cards for a client. For example, you can enter an insurance card for the primary insurance and for the secondary insurance. Then, when you go to create an insurance invoice, all you have to do is choose which insurance card to submit the claim to. Therabill will use the information you entered in the insurance card to fill in the insurance information on the CMS-1500 HCFA insurance claim form.
Accessing your CMS-1500 HCFA Insurance Forms
Every CMS-1500 insurance claim that you create is stored electronically in your CMS-1500 filing cabinet (image below). Because Therabill is a web based insurance billing tool, you can access this information from any computer that has an internet connection.
