The Therabill scheduling system is very simple to use and accessible from any computer with internet access. However, sometimes you may want to access your schedule from some other calendaring system. Therabill has a solution for this. Therabill allows you to synchronize your Therabill schedule to Google Calendar. Almost every calendaring system (such as the one on your smart phone) can also easily synchronize to Google Calendar. This gives you the ability to have your Therabill schedule synchronized to other calendar software (such as the calendar on your smart phone).

One time synchronization set up

You only have to set Therabill to synchronize once with Google Calendar. That is, you do not need to push a button every time you want your Therabill calendar to update the synch to Google Calendar. Just set it up once and Therabill will handle it from there.

Simply give Therabill access to your Google Calendar (with just the click of a button) and then tell Therabill what calendar in Google you would like to synchronize too. Then every time you add a session in Therabill, it will automatically add an event into your Google Calendar representing that therapy session. If you edit the session in Therabill, the edits will automatically be synchronized with the event on Google Calendar. It is that easy.

Delete and edit sessions from Google Calendar

While you will need to actually enter new therapy sessions into the Therabill schedule, you can edit the time and date of service directly from Google Calendar (or your smart phone if you are synchronizing your smart phone calendar to Google Calendar). Change the date of service, start time, or end time of of any event in Google Calendar that represents a therapy session that was placed there by Therabill and the next time you log in to Therabill, that changes will be automatically synchronized to your schedule in Therabill.

Multiple Synchronizations

Google Calendar allows you to create multiple calendars. They also allow you to share those calendars with other Google Calendar accounts. Combine those powerful Google features with the fact that Therabill allows you to create multiple synchronizations to different Google Calendars. For example, set all scheduled therapy sessions for a specific provider to schedule to one calendar in Google and set all scheduled therapy sessions for another provider to synchronize to a different calendar in Google. By using the power of Therabill and Google, you can be very creative with sharing and synchronizing your therapy sessions for each provider, making each of their therapy schedules accessible to them from anywhere.

Future Development

We think that our cool Google Calendar Synch feature has great potential and we will be developing it further. It is in our future plans to write a widget that will allow you to enter therapy sessions directly into Google Calendar as a Google Calendar Event. The event will then automatically be translated into a therapy session in Therabill. There is great potential here and Therabill intends to develop this as far as we can take it.
